In this founder’s note, I want to share some recent moments that clarified the feeling of embodied worth for me in real time.
I believe embodied worth is the lived experience of feeling your worthiness from within.
Feeling ease, safety, and belonging in your body even in environments that stretch you.
I explain this relationship to worth more deeply in our article “Know Your Self-Worth: The Path to a Deeply Fulfilling Life”.
In December 2025, I attended a VIP experience in Paris with my mentor, Marta Hobbs, which included a private holiday dinner hosted by Dolce & Gabbana and an exclusive high jewelry presentation at Dior.
Here, I explain what this experience was like for me as a moment of recognition. And what it revealed about my embodied worth, sense of belonging, and identity.
Belonging Without Proving
The Dolce & Gabbana VIP Christmas dinner felt new to me, because it was new. I had never attended a private dinner hosted by a luxury fashion house in Paris before.
And yet, what surprised me most was how natural it felt to be there. I did not feel like an imposter.
I was there as the guest of my mentor, and while that context mattered, what stood out to me was something quieter and more internal: a steady, unforced sense of belonging.
Net worth, exclusivity, and labels do not erase humanity, so the dinner felt like a gathering of people first and foremost.
I didn’t feel like I needed to be wearing Dolce & Gabbana (I wasn’t) to know that this was my level, my environment, my world.
There was a simple felt knowing: Of course I’m here. Of course this is for me. This is who I’ve become.

When the Soul Recognizes Home
The following day, I attended the Dior high jewelry presentation. The pieces were extraordinary—rare, exquisite, and of immense material value. Being able to access such an intimate and exclusive setting felt like an honor.
And again, something important happened internally.
Although this was a completely new experience for me, I did not feel like I was trespassing in a world that wasn’t for me.
I didn’t feel smaller than the room or the objects within it. Instead, my soul was very clear: This is where you belong.
It was a clarity that did not come from aspiration, but from my soul recognizing…this is home.
The Shared Joy of True Artistry and Creation
What surprised me most about the high jewelry experience was how much joy I felt. I went in without expectations or preconceived ideas, and what I found was deep, genuine delight.
Being in the presence of such exquisite craftsmanship was profoundly nourishing.
The jewelry is valuable not only because of gemstones and precious metals, but because of the artistry, the care, the devotion, and love behind each piece. The attention to detail was almost reverent.
What made the experience even richer was sharing it with others who saw and valued the same things.
Everyone in the room was equally attuned to and fascinated by the artistry and beauty. This heightened the joyful energy.
There was a shared understanding that the monetary value is simply a fact, while the real value lives in the beauty and creation itself.
To be among people who respect beauty, craft, and artistry for what they truly are—and to feel lit up together by that—was deeply fulfilling.

A Lived Experience of Embodied Worth
I thoroughly enjoyed the settings, the brands, and the exclusivity. Yet, my greatest takeaway from these experiences was the inner, embodied realization that I do belong.
I am not less than this.
And this is not more than me.
I had a lived experience of embodied worth. Where I did not feel undeserving or out of place, despite it being new and very expansive.
There was no inner discomfort around needing to earn my presence or justify my right to be there.
I do want to mention that experiencing this alongside my mentor mattered. Her presence created an added layer of belonging and safety.
Having someone whose lead I trusted allowed my nervous system to relax more fully into the experiences. That support made it easier to receive what the moments were offering.
And still, I am deeply grateful to myself for the self-worth and identity work I’ve done, and for choosing to have these experiences.
They reflected back to me who I’ve become on the inside. They allowed me to more greatly embody an identity that was already alive within me, and to anchor it more fully through lived action.
This recognition mirrors what I explore more fully in our article “Inner Fullness: A Luxurious State of Feeling Complete From Within”. It’s a quiet, internal sense of wholeness that makes belonging feel natural rather than earned.

What Embodied Worth Truly Means
For me, embodied worth means deeply internalizing your inherent value.
It is the shift from understanding your inherent worth conceptually to feeling it physically—living it through your choices, behavior, and feeling of ease in the world.
Embodied worth is not something you wait to feel after external achievement or approval. It is a present moment somatic experience of safety, security, and quiet confidence as a way of being.
When worth is embodied, your nervous system feels supported and relaxed even in new and expansive situations. There is a sense of peace, allowance, and internal abundance.
In that state, environments that once may have felt distant, unfamiliar, or inaccessible no longer register that way.
Instead, there is an inner familiarity. A feeling of this is allowed, this is known, I recognize myself here.
Luxury as an Inner State
These experiences reminded me that while material luxury can be beautiful and meaningful, true luxury is an inner state.
Feelings of:
- I am worthy.
- I am safe here.
- I belong.
- I do not need to prove my worthiness.
- I do not need to defend my desire to be here.
The power of this VIP experience was not only the joy of it, but the quiet confirmation of embodied worth. Something I have cultivated over time and will continue to cultivate.
It was a moment of claiming who I am and who I will continue to become, as I live more fully in my soul’s essence.
For me, that essence carries the energy of freedom, beauty, abundance, exquisiteness, and majesty—that is truth to my soul.
My daily practice is shedding any trauma or human conditioning that tries to separate me from that truth.
To me, that is luxury as an inner state.
